It is nice to see how the Wiki kind of came to life, and there are more and more people to actively doing something/commenting on it. It would be selfish to think I created this, but who knows?
Also I added a few new pages, created a Tips masterpost, so we are slowly growing this wiki. What a nice journey!
I just saw this blog feature and I don't really know what to think.
Well... yep. Like, who would even read it? Or why? But whatever, if I found it, and I seem to have a mood for it, I am trying this out now.
So... in a blog, one usually put personal related info, right? Right.
A few days ago, I kind of got enough of this wiki having so little and hectic content, so from then on, I kinda made my "mission" (with poetic exaggeration, ofc) to try and add stuff. And indeed I did. Edits, creating pages, updating olds, making links, categorizing, etc. It was actually really fun, as I tend to enjoy this kind of work, as it makes me that feeling that I have the reins in my hands, and order in my life. Well, whatever, don't need to get me too deep in …
As noted in a recent blog, I took a little break from this wiki and went on a little trip with "da wife". I was still playing the game but not as aggressively as before. Well, I'm back. Did ya miss me? Hmmm... Thought not...
As the game grows it becomes more difficult to play AND to document notes in the wiki. Viktor, the developer, makes a lot of changes. There's more to do as the game matures. As a Beta tester, I am obligated (listen up Betas...) to keep re-playing in areas where I've already been, just to see if anything has changed. I try new features and report my experience back to Viktor. I try to do weird things just to break the game, and I report anything I find. Viktor makes changes, asks if things are better, I respond, and we m…
With v1.0.108 all drops just got a little more rare. The game is being balanced so that we don't get too much here, too little there. I think there will be more balance updates soon. I don't know if drops are "throttled" to some number per minute, or if it's truly random, just less frequent.
Personally I welcome more balance. A lot of us finish too quickly. Many people instantly ask for more, say they're bored, and there's not enough to do. I think the game needs to be a bit more difficult so that we work for our rewards and get better rewards with more effort.
We don't want it too difficult of course. A game needs to be a challenge to draw us into it. The rewards need to be adequate to keep drawing us back. There needs to be enough to do in…
After a sprint to get page up here, I need to take a break for real life. I will continue writing pages off-line and will post content when possible over the coming days and weeks. For a while, I'm just not going to make changes here as fast as recently. Please forgive if you do not see changes here as quickly as we have just seen recently.
You can help by commenting on existing pages and recommending new content. I know many things are missing and do not yet have links. I'm more concerned now with inaccuracies. If you find something in this wiki that is incorrect, please simply post a commenton the page. Or you can use the Discussions page to start a thread on a more general topic.
Thanks for your patience!

There will come a time when ...
- you are no longer afraid of what is around the corner
- you no longer care about getting hit, or missing when you strike
- you no longer care about epic rewards
- you play just for experience and gold, not for adventure
- you're surprised to see any weapon or defense item in your inventory less than Epic
- you have a plan for getting all legendary items
There will come a time when you have evolved and you find yourself playing Moonshades like it's another game.
In earlier versions, runes had a value of tens of thousands of gold pieces, and items in the Blacksmith shop were too cheap or weren't worth buying. In the latest beta and production updates, Viktor has done very well in creating a balance in the economy.
Items are now priced well. Gold is neither too rare nor too plentiful. With the power of the Forge we now have reasons to buy, sell, and hunt for items. We have reasons to spend time in different levels, to obtain different items. The game has become a little deeper, not just about hacking on mobs. I will document this all in the wiki soon.
It's not a huge adventure game yet. The quests are simple and few, and the game is not yet tied into the backstory, but I trust that over time, soon, thi…
As mentioned in Facebook, I've created a number of pages here. Most are empty - it's just a skeleton. Some pages have content - it's just initial content to start the process. Others are welcome to add-to, correct, or add comments and suggestions to each page. I'll contribute to fill in the pages until they all have some content, and I will do what I can to continue to update the pages as long as I'm playing, there is time, and while others have interest.
Who am I? Just a guy who likes to play games. I'm a developer too, so I understand how this stuff works, but I am not contributing code to this project.
I appreciate that Viktor, the game developer, has provided a game for free for us to enjoy. I think it's fair to spend some free time to t…
